Anantnag: Terrorists opened fire on the wife and daughter of a constable from Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday evening in Kokagund Verinag area of Anantnag district.
The head constable’s wife Nahida, 38, and daughter Madiha, 16, were injured in the attack. “The injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment,” the police said.
The attack on the constable’s family took place on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha.
