Ameesha Patel opens up on her alleged rift with Kareena Kapoor Khan after 22 years

The news of the feud between the two stars first surfaced around 2000.

Ameesha will next be seen in Gadar 2 opposite Sunny Deol, while Kareena will next be seen in Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha.

Ameesha Patel made her Bollywood debut opposite Hrithik Roshan with Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. Although her debut was a hit, it was later reported that Kareena Kapoor was initially being considered to play the lead role in the film.

According to reports, Kareena Kapoor Khan was about to work in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. When things didn’t work out, the makers cast Ameesha Patel as the lead lady along with Hrithik. Rumors spread that the decision of the makers led to a long rift between Kareena and Ameesha. The news of the feud between the two stars first surfaced around 2000.

Kareena Kapoor Khan is believed to have criticized Ameesha Patel’s performance in the film directed by Rakesh Roshan, calling her a bad actor.

Amisha has no enemies:

Addressing the reports of alleged rift with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ameesha recently told Pinkvilla that she has no enemies. She further added that she doesn’t mind Kareena and talks to her closest friend about Kareena’s brilliant work.

Ameesha spoke only positive things about Kareena:

He said that when the media urged him to respond to the alleged derogatory remarks made by Kareena, he never said anything. She also said that she would only talk positively about Kareena as she did not know her well enough to speak anything about her.

In the interview, Ameesha also said that she was okay with having an opinion against anyone as everyone is entitled to it. Responding to Kareena’s alleged remarks, Ameesha said that she did not even know whether Kareena said anything or it was just the media taking the matter forward.
