Sudden demise of beloved television actor and winner of Bigg Boss 13 Sidharth Shukla Has rocked the entire nation and especially his loyal fan-base. The actor died of a heart attack on September 2 at the age of 40. After his death, his rumored girlfriend and fellow Bigg Boss 13 housewife Shehnaaz Gill kept away from public view for some time. After resuming work, the actress also recorded a tribute song for him titled ‘Tu Yehi Hai’. However, this did not go down well with many of his fans, who started trending ‘Stop using Siddharth Shukla’ on Twitter. Now, actor Aly Goni has taken to the microblogging site to defend Shehnaaz.
Ellie had shared a tweet criticizing the cast including Jaan Kumar Sanu and Amit Tandon for announcing a tribute to the actor. The tweet read, “Here we are still mourning this unfortunate incident and those who claim to be his close friends are selling sentiments in the name of tribute. To make us reel on someone’s death. Say, count views and likes! How low will they fall? Stop joking! Stop using Sidharth Shukla.” Eli then replied, “Seriously stop it guys.”
After this, Elli shared another tweet clarifying her stand and defending Shehnaaz. He wrote, “I think there is a misunderstanding in my last tweet..First shehnaaz ka purna haq hai and I loved that song(Shehnaaz has every right to pay tribute to Siddharth..Second why that tweet) tha) people who drag Sid in the name of cover songs reel and all. Which I mentioned in that tweet (which was mentioned in the tweet) .. #peace”

Meanwhile, Amit Tandon, who was also trolled for tagging Sidharth and Shehnaaz on the announcement of their song ‘Dil ko kara aaya’, reacted to Instagram stories. He clarified that it was not a tribute to the late actor. He said, “Just to make it clear to the trollers that this is not a tribute and I tagged Sid and Shenaz’s fans knowing full well that she was not a part of the song, thinking it was a smile on their faces. It was recorded before Sid’s untimely demise and this is a song I love sung wonderfully by @yasserdesai bas baaki jisko hateful hona hai ho mjhe ghanta farak padhta hai! #tandontalk #sayitlikeitis”
Meanwhile, Tu Yaheen Hai shows Shehnaaz leading a secluded life remembering the late actor. The video also has clips from Bigg Boss 13 and his other TV shows.
