In a statement, state-owned Alliance Air said: “During the operation of Alliance Air flight 9I 691 from Delhi to Jabalpur on March 12, 2022, the Alliance Air aircraft covered a distance of 10 meters from the runway. We Grateful that all passengers and crew members aboard the flight are safe. Our first priority is to evacuate the passengers without compromising on their safety.”
“While we follow the prescribed policies/procedures as per regulatory authorities and have strict checks in both pre and post flight operations to ensure complete safety of our passengers and crew, we regret the unfortunate incident. We have taken strict cognizance of the incident and the cockpit crew has been de-rostered. A thorough investigation has been started. The findings of the same will be shared with regulatory authorities and we will ensure that all necessary corrective action is taken.”
