new Delhi: Lovebirds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to tie the knot in the coming week. The much awaited wedding is going to be the biggest Bollywood wedding of the year.
According to reports, the wedding celebrations of Alia and Ranbir will take place between April 13 and April 17. Given Ranbir’s Punjabi background, the couple will have a traditional Punjabi wedding. Rumors are rife that the couple will marry at RK House in Chembur, where Ranbir’s parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor also tied the knot in the 1980s.
The wedding festivities will begin on April 13 with a mehendi ceremony, followed by a sangeet ceremony the next day. The Big Bollywood Wedding will finally take place on April 15 in an intimate ceremony between close friends and family members.
Speculation is rife that B-town celebs invited for the wedding include Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Varun Dhawan, Ayan Mukerji, Zoya Akhtar, Arjun Kapoor, Masaba Gupta, Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan. Post their wedding, Ranbir and Alia will reportedly host a grand reception for their industry friends by the end of April.
Ranbir and Alia have been one of the most popular couples in Bollywood. Fans of the couple have been eagerly awaiting their wedding ever since the actors officially announced it at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding reception in 2018.
The couple is often seen together at family gatherings and other occasions. They also accompany each other on foreign holidays.
On the work front, the real-life couple will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’, which is slated to release in September this year. Viewers are quite excited to see the off-screen pair romancing each other on-screen.
