Not only has COVID-19 brought our lives to a sudden halt, but all the restrictions related to movement have stopped us from taking long vacations. To many of us sometimes it seems like a dream. Celebrities talk about how much they miss traveling and take the opportunity to reminisce on the good old mask-free vacation days. They also share about a special holiday they have already experienced or want to find out when these dark times are over.

Travel is something that we all surely miss a lot. Just before the lockdown started, I was traveling with my plays across India and abroad for almost a year and a half. The last trip I took was with Percy and it was very special. It was just before the lockdown and later we were thanking God that we completed this wonderful journey of 9 days without any further delay. We don’t get so many vacations together when you’re working, so that vacation was very much needed for us. We went to Dubai and enjoyed doing everything from dining to shopping to sightseeing at different places. It was such a wonderful and happy journey. I have so many fond memories of that holiday.

I remember going to Bali, Indonesia with my brothers who are no less than my friends. It was a memorable journey amidst mighty seas and hot and cold air. We loved the environment, the beaches, sand and sea we dreamed of. It was colorful all around and there was a lot of peace. Whenever I think of that trip, I feel like going back to Bali again. Even talking about it now makes me smile.

I miss traveling big time. Travel gives an outlet and changes the environment and fresh oxygen is a necessity. I want to go to Switzerland and enjoy the snow. We have only stayed home during the pandemic. I want to travel and meet people from different cities. I can’t even remember where I went on my last vacation.

I am missing a trip to an exotic destination. USA is on my wish list. I want to go to Miami and L.A. Traveling enhances the spirit and also rejuvenates. We have a life and journey should be part of everyone’s life. I have traveled to my hometown Jammu and Chandigarh only for my music video shoots.

My NGO No More Tears Is My Life. I can’t remember when was the last time I took a vacation or traveled just for fun. I am a workaholic and as a person living 24/7 with victims and police, I do not have time to take leave. I feel like a mother to all the victims and being a mother is a full time job. But I definitely want to visit India as I have wonderful memories of Mumbai.
