bollywood star title Akshay KumarAccording to a letter released by Yash Raj Films, the upcoming film ‘Prithviraj’ has been changed, the film is now called ‘Samrat Prithviraj’. The letter has been sent to Shri Rajput Karni Sena. The move comes after a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed by Shri Rajput Karni Sena through Advocate Raghavendra Mehrotra.

The letter read: “We, Yash Raj Films Pvt Ltd, have been one of the leading production houses and distribution companies since our inception in the 1970s and are growing into one of the largest film studios in India. We have produced some of the most iconic films in the history of Indian cinema, and the movies and entertainment industry have had over 50 years of goodwill.”

“We are committed to continually creating and producing content for the enjoyment of all audiences.”

The letter further read: “We sincerely appreciate your effort to alert us of your complaint with respect to the current title of the film, and assure you that we have not addressed the feelings of any person(s)”.
