Ajay Devgn launches music label of ‘Omkara’, production house behind ‘Drishyam’

Panorama Studios, makers of acclaimed films like ‘Raid’, ‘Omkara’, ‘Khuda Hafiz’ and ‘Drishyam’, have diversified into music. Actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn launched Panorama Music on Tuesday. Led by Rajesh Menon, a well-established music industry executive, the label will create original singles, film music, independent music and regional content.

Established with the intention of providing a platform to budding musicians and artists, the label will focus on regional content and its offerings in Hindi will include devotional and Sufi music and ghazals. Launching the label, Devgn said, “Music has always been a place that has piqued my interest. Devgn’s manager and filmmaker Kumar Mangat Pathak and producer-director Abhishek Pathak are the frontmen of the music label.
