People traveling by air will now have to pay higher fares. The Civil Aviation Ministry has now increased the minimum and maximum fare limits. With this, airlines can increase the fare. The minimum fare will increase by 10% and the maximum will increase by 13%.

In fact, after the nationwide lockdown last year, in May, the government had fixed a ceiling on airfares. This was done because less number of flights were operating then. Due to this companies were charging more money for tickets. Now that the lockdown has been relaxed and the number of air passengers is also increasing, the government has increased this limit.

Order issued on Thursday night
The government has decided to increase the minimum fare by 9.83%. The maximum fare has been increased by 12.82%. The Ministry of Aviation has given this information by issuing an order late on Thursday night. The lower cap i.e. the minimum rent limit imposed by the government was aimed at helping the companies. The purpose of the maximum fare limit was to help the passengers.

2900 rupees will have to be paid for 40 minutes journey
According to the order of the ministry, the minimum fare will now be Rs 2,900 for a journey of 40 minutes. Earlier it was Rs 2,600. The maximum fare for the same period will now be Rs 8,800. Earlier it was Rs 7,700. Similarly, for a flight of 40-60 minutes, the minimum fare will be Rs 3,700. Earlier it was Rs 3,300. The maximum fare will be Rs 11,000. It was earlier Rs 9,500.

4,500 rupees for one to one and half hour journey
The minimum fare for a one-and-a-half hour flight will now be Rs 4,500. It has been increased by 12.5%. Its maximum fare will be Rs 13,200. It was also increased by 12.82%. Similarly, for a flight of more than one and a half hours i.e. 90-120 minutes, the minimum fare will be Rs 5,300 instead of Rs 4,700 and the minimum fare for a flight of 120-150 minutes will be Rs 6,700 instead of 6,100. The minimum fare for a journey of 150 to 180 minutes will be Rs 8,300 instead of 7,400 and Rs 9,800 instead of 8,700 for a flight of 180 to 210 minutes.

Rs 6,700 will have to be paid for 120-150 minutes
The minimum fare for a flight of 120-150 minutes has been fixed at Rs 6,700. The ceiling on the maximum fare for all these distance flights has been increased from 12.3 to 12.39%. Also, this fare does not include passenger security fee, airport user development fee and GST. That is, after this basic fare, you will have to pay more money for the journey.

More fare will have to be paid for Bhopal to Delhi
It takes 1.25 hours to travel from Bhopal to Delhi. That is, you may have to pay 4,500 to 13,200 rupees. Bhopal to Mumbai takes 1.30 hours. The same fare will be applicable for this also. The journey from Indore to Mumbai is completed in 1.15 hours. For this you will have to pay at least Rs 5,300. The journey from Jaipur to Delhi is completed in 40 minutes. For this, it will take at least Rs 2,900.

The number of passengers has increased in August
The number of air passengers in the country has increased by 36% in the first week of August as compared to the last week of July. The main reason for the increase is economic activity and lower rents. Many airlines are booking advance tickets at low rates. Recovery is visible in other countries as well.
