Tech billionaire Elon Musk said his aerospace company SpaceX will soon join Tesla to accept Dogecoin as a payment option for goods. As reported by Teslarati, the electric vehicle company began accepting cryptocurrencies in January. Musk, an often outspoken supporter of some cryptocurrencies, announced on Twitter, previously reiterating that Tesla merch can be purchased with crypto.
“Tesla Merchant Could Be Buying Soon With Doge SpaceX Merch too,” Musk wrote on the microblogging site. Musk, nor SpaceX announced a concrete date for when it will begin accepting dogecoin for goods. Currently, SpaceX’s merchant store still only accepts credit card payments. The report states that the store’s goods are also listed in the US by default in dollars only, and there are no cryptocurrency conversions or prices available for any items in the store.
Musk also said that “maybe one day” Starlink users will be able to pay for their subscription to Internet service with Doge. musk No specific date has been given for this.
