The residents alleged that the project has been left incomplete and since the developer has not completed the pending works including some infrastructure facilities in the project as promised. “The developer has not yet applied for the most important document. As far as facilities are concerned, the project is still incomplete and residents are not able to register their flats,” said RWA secretary Sanjay Gaba.
District town planner RS ​​Bath said, “The enforcement team visited the housing society on Tuesday. We have issued instructions to the developer’s representative to apply for necessary permissions within a month and remove unauthorized constructions in the ground floor and basement area at the earliest.
Another resident alleged that by not doing the conveyance deed, the builder was earning money by charging transfer fees against the sale and purchase of flats on his own volition. “As per a rough estimate, the developer would have earned transfer fee for around 100 or more flats, which would have resulted in huge loss of revenue to the state exchequer,” the RWA members said in their complaint to the CM’s office.
“The builder had to complete the facilities like club house, swimming pool etc which have not been completed till date. Other drawbacks include seepage into buildings, including basements – it weakens foundation columns. The society lacks proper street and park lights and fire protection system,” said RWA president Ashok Garg.
The developer could not be contacted even after repeated attempts.
