The mortal remains of Naveen Shekharappa, a medical student killed in a Russian attack in Ukraine, will reach Bengaluru on Monday. The information has been shared by Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. Although earlier he had tweeted wrong. Later correcting it, he said that Naveen’s body will reach Bengaluru at 3 pm on Monday, March 21, not Sunday.

21-year-old Naveen’s house is in Haveri district in Karnataka. He was a medical student at Kharkiv National University. After his death, Naveen’s body was kept in the mortuary of Kharkiv Medical University.
