However, Reuters says that Ghani has left the country for Tajikistan, quoting a senior interior ministry official.

Meanwhile, reports also say that President Ashraf Ghani has left it to the country’s political leadership to resolve the current crisis.

Defense Minister Bismillah Mohammadi said a delegation would visit Doha on Monday for talks.
