Aero India 2023: Indian Air Force Performs ‘Gurukul’ Flypast on Day 1 in Bengaluru; Watch Video

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Aero India 2023 in the presence of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Thereafter, the program began with an air show in which Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhary, Chief of the Indian Air Force, led the Gurukul formation on a flypast. The formation displayed indigenous aircraft.

The formation was led by an LCA SPT aircraft flown by the Air Chief Marshal, accompanied by two Hindustan turbo trainers and two intermediate jet trainers. The LCA SPT was followed by the HAWK-i, while the Hindustan-228 was last. In addition, LCH Prachanda made by HAL also performed stunts in the show.

Aero India 2023 attracted participation from over 80 countries. Around 65 CEOs and ministers from International and Indian OEMs from 30 different countries are expected to participate in Aero India 2023.
