New Delhi: Akshay Kumar is all set to bring his upcoming film ‘Bell Bottom’ on the big screen. Directed by Ranjit M Tiwari, the film is inspired by actual kidnapping incidents in India during the 1980s and stars Khiladi Kumar in the lead.
‘Bell Bottom’ is one of the first Bollywood films to release in theaters after the second wave of COVID-19 hit the country. Ahead of its release on August 19, 2021, Akshay Kumar through his social media post revealed that the advance bookings for ‘Bell Bottom’ have started from today. The ‘Atrangi Re’ actor shared the information with a special Akshay Kumar style video.
Sharing, the ‘Ram Setu’ actor wrote, “#BellBottom is landing in theaters near you this Thursday. Book tickets now to board. Bellbottom advance booking starts now!
Akshay Kumar in his post also revealed that tickets are available for advance booking on BookMyShow and Paytm.
Waves have been rising ever since the announcement of ‘Bell Bottom’. Apart from Akshay, the film also stars Lara Dutta, Huma Qureshi and Vaani Kapoor in pivotal roles. Lara Dutta’s transformation as the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi impressed netizens. Her matchless resemblance with the former PM in the trailer has been well received by the audience.
Meanwhile, apart from ‘Bell Bottom’, Akshay Kumar has several other projects lined up for release. He will next be seen in ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and ‘Atrangi Re’.
