Mumbai: Adivasi sesh-starrer ‘Major’ turns 1 today. To celebrate this special occasion, he reminisced and spent the whole day with Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s family. Adivi shared several pictures of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s parents on Instagram. ‘Major’ depicts the real life story of Sandeep Unnikrishnan and the tragic events of 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Helmed by Shashi Karan Tikka, ‘Major’ also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma.
In the film, Adivi plays the role of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who laid down his life while fighting terrorists at the Taj Mahal Hotel and rescuing 14 hostages.
And this biopic surely created a very special bond with Shesh, who is keeping this legacy alive by staying close to the family. Even on the first anniversary of the film, Sesh spent the day with Sandeep’s family in Bangalore and penned a heart-warming note about the day as well as some beautiful pictures from the film.
Sharing the pictures, he wrote, “Major’s 1st anniversary visit Amma and uncle. Amma cooked some amazing food despite her shoulder pain. Her love is everything for me. Major has won the hearts of millions of viewers, and Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s portrayal of the tribal Shesh has been highly praised. Bankrolled by Sony Pictures International Productions, GMB Entertainment Pvt Ltd and A+S Movies, ‘Major’ is slated to release on June 3, 2022 in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.
On the work front, Sesh will be next seen in ‘Zee2’ and the shooting of the film will begin soon.
