After her marriage to Jagdish R, she chose to step away from the spotlight and stopped working in the industry. Recently, she shared a string of photos on Instagram, where she could be seen enjoying some peaceful time by the beach. Amulya dished out a subtle yet chic look that has caught the attention of her fans. In the photos, she could be seen in a spaghetti-strapped flowy dress. It has colourful motifs painted on it, like coconut trees, fishes, crabs and pineapples. She accessorised the white dress with white sliders, oversized black sunnies and a hat. Amulya kept her makeup bare minimum with nude lips.

Amulya is gearing up for a comeback on the silver screen with the film Karavali. It is directed by Gurudatha Ganiga. The film is directed by Prajwal Devaraj. She revealed that she did not take a proper break in years after her debut. She said, “I started too young and was working on multiple projects. I missed out on a lot. So, I used this break to travel and explore the world.” According to her, now the actress is “ready for a comeback”. She shared that she is okay with doing one film in five years.
