Actor Mohan Kapur accused of sexually harassing a minor, victim claims he sent her ‘d**k pics’

New Delhi: Renowned television and film actor Mohan Kapoor, who recently grabbed attention for playing Kamala Khan’s father in the Disney+ show Ms Marvel, has found himself in the midst of a MeToo controversy. A girl, without revealing her identity, has made some shocking allegations against the actor, claiming that he sexually assaulted her when she was just 14-15 years old.

In a long Twitter thread, she alleged that Mohan Kapoor sent her his ‘d**k’ pictures and even confessed to being in love with her. The victim also alleged that the actor’s then partner was aware of his behaviour. See screenshot of Twitter thread:

The MeToo movement started in India when actress Tanushree Dutta accused senior actor Nana Patekar of sexual harassment on the sets of her film. However, Nana Patekar denied all the allegations. This sparked a huge row and many more celebrities have been named and shamed in this campaign to call out sexual predators. From filmmaker Sajid Khan to Alok Nath – everyone has been accused of sexual harassment.

Meanwhile, Mohan Kapoor is yet to react to the controversy.

The actor has also worked as a voice artist and dubbed for several Hollywood actors including Dwayne Johnson, Tom Hardy, Nicolas Cage and Jackie Chan. He voiced Doctor Strange in the Hindi dubs of his various appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
