Shiv Thakare has reacted to the news of his former Bigg Boss co-contestant Abdu Rozik’s wedding announcement.
Bigg Boss 15 fame Abdu Rozik left everyone surprised on Thursday when he took to his Instagram handle to announce that he will get married in July 2024. However, looks like it is just a prank.
When News18 Showsha exclusively reached out to Abdu’s BFF Shiv Thakare, he told us that he has no idea about the wedding. Shiv stated that he spoke to Abdu just an hour ago but the latter did not mention anything about the wedding. This has left Shiv wondering if Abdu’s wedding reports are false.
“I have no idea about it. I don’t know who the girl is. Got to know it via social media only. Rather, I spoke to Abdu just 30 minutes back and he didn’t mention anything about the wedding. Don’t know if these reports are false,” Shiv told us.
Earlier today, Abdu took to social media and shared a photo of himself holding a diamond ring. In the caption, he wrote, “I never imagined in my life that I will be so lucky to find a love who respects me and is not burdened by the obstacles in my life 7th of July save the date !! I cannot express to you in words how happy I am.”
In the video clip, Abdu was seen seated on a couch, wearing a crisp, black and white tuxedo. “As you know, I am 20 years old. I have a dream of falling in love, getting a girl who respects me and loves me too much. It’s been my dream. Suddenly, I found that girl, who is respecting me, giving me too much love. I don’t know how to say… I am too much excited. I have one surprise for all of you,” he said.
Hailing from Tajikistan, Abdu Rozik gained popularity in India after he participated in Bigg Boss 15. His performance in the show was widely loved by all including the host, Salman Khan. During his Bigg Boss stint, he became a close friend with his co-contestants – Shiv Thakare, Sajid Khan, MC Stan and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. Last year, Abdu also made a guest appearance on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 when he was seen supporting his friend, Shiv Thakare.
