The defending champions hosted two-time champions KKR at their home in Ahmedabad on April 9 and after a good start by the Titans, their innings slowed down towards the middle, before a brilliant innings by Shankar.
The last two overs yielded 41 runs in 11 balls, with Shankar playing a brilliant innings at a strike rate of 262.50.

The highlight of Shankar’s knock was his three consecutive sixes in the final over of the innings against Shardul Thakur, taking Raj past the 200-run mark.
