62 new COVID-19 cases reported in Thane city; No vaccination on Wednesday Thane News – Times of India

Thane: 62 new cases were registered in Thane city on Tuesday. COVID-19 Taking the total number of cases to 1,35,908.
In a positive development, the city once again reported no new deaths.
63 people were also discharged after recovering during the day.
The city is now left with 575 active cases.
The recovery rate is 98.06 percent and the doubling rate is 1,876.
Of the new cases, 17 people tested positive in Vartak Nagar, followed by nine in Naupada-Kopri, eight in Diva, seven in Majiwada-Manpada, five in KalwaFour in Lokmanya-Savarkar, two each in Uthasar mumbra, and in a waggle.
Seven people tested positive outside Thane city jurisdiction.
Meanwhile, Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) said that there will be no vaccination of Kovid-19 on Wednesday.
“Vaccination at TMC centers will remain closed on August 4, 2021,” the TMC said.
