494 new Kovid-19 cases registered in Telangana, 4 deaths Hyderabad News – Times of India

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 494 new COVID-19 cases and 4 deaths on Sunday, while the number of active cases in the state stood at 9,405.
The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic last year is 6,41,153 and the death toll is 3,784. The number of active containment zones in the state stood at 39.
Apart from the two containment zones in Hyderabad, Mahabubabad, Jaishankar Bhupalpally, Jagtial, Kaimanagar and Bhadadri Kothagudem have most of the active containment zones in the state.
A total of 710 patients were declared healthy on Sunday, taking the total number of cured patients to 6,27,964. The case fatality rate (CFR) is 0.59 per cent, while the recovery rate is now 97.94 per cent. Of the total cases in the state so far, 79.8 per cent have been asymptomatic while 20.2 per cent have been symptomatic.
On Sunday, 91,457 samples were tested for the novel coronavirus. Telangana has now completed testing of 2.13 crore samples and has reached to 5.72 lakh sample tests per million population.
NS Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported 76 new cases on Sunday, while neighboring Medchal Malkajgiri reported 19 cases, Ranga Reddy 31 and Sanga Reddy 12. Jagtial, Khamman, outside Hyderabad city and its outskirts Mancheriyal, Suryapet And more cases were seen in Nalgonda.
