Ghaziabad: A man was shot dead by three masked assailants in Loni’s Tronica City on Thursday afternoon. the police suspect that the killing Family dispute is the result.
A police officer said the victim has been identified as Ram Kumar Sharma (35), a driver of a government employee in Delhi. His wife Akanksha aka Sonam runs a jewelery shop in Tronica City. Sharma was at his wife’s shop at the time of the incident.
According to the police officer, three men wearing masks went to the shop and one of them shot Sharma after an argument.
SP Rural Iraj Raja said that the police got information about the murder at around 3.15 pm on Thursday.
“We came to know that three masked men had come on a bike. A neighbor told us that he entered the shop carrying the bag and spoke to Sharma for two minutes before shooting. Sharma suffered chest injuries and the accused fled the spot with a bike.
Sharma was taken to GTB Hospital in Delhi but died during treatment. The body has been sent for post-mortem and the report is awaited. “An FIR has been registered under IPC section 302 (murder).
