Mississippi (US), Jan 2 (AP) Several people opened fire at a Mississippi party just minutes before the end of 2021, killing three people and injuring four.
No one has been arrested in the shooting at the Gulfport New Years party because investigators are stitching together a chaotic scene where more than 50 shots were fired from multiple guns, but also because people who witnessed the shooting and others were injured . Gulfport Police Chief Chris Ryle said speaking to officers.
“I understand their mindset. They don’t want to see a stitch in public. But we have a phone line they’re more than welcome to call,” Ryle said at a Saturday news conference.

“Somebody saw something with so many people there last night,” Ryle told a news conference posted on The Sun Herald of Biloxi’s website.
“When an assault rifle comes out, someone knows who they are and we need them to come forward.” The three people killed were identified as 23-year-old Corey Dubos of D’Iberville; Cedric McCord, 28, of Gulfport; and Aubrey Lewis, 22, of Bay St. Louis, Harrison County coroner Brian Switzer told news outlets.
