2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza Specs Leaked, Launched in 10 Variants on June 30

There is a lot of buzz about the launch of the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza. The compact SUV will be officially available for sale in our market by June 30. So far, the company has also given some important information about its upcoming SUV. However, spy shots of the car without the camo have completely shown its design. Now, in a new document uploaded from the Transport Department, the specifications of the upcoming compact SUV have also been revealed. Furthermore, the document shares details about the variant line-up of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki SUV. Well, there will be a total of 10 trims on offer.

According to the ICAT document, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza will retail with a 1.5L, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol motor. A similar mild-hybrid powertrain has also been used in the recently launched Ertiga facelift. The power plant is capable of producing 103 PS of rated power output and 138.6 Nm of peak torque. There will be two transmission options on offer – 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT. Yes! 4-speed AT will not be seen anymore.

Talking about the variants, the Brezza will have 7 manual and 3 automatic variants. This time around, the Brezza’s variant line-up will also see a new LXi(O) trim. Other major changes in the updated model will include an all-new dashboard along with a completely new design for the exterior. The interiors will get a 9-inch free-standing infotainment unit, revised instrument cluster, automatic climate control, heads-up display and more. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza will be the first car from the brand to sport an electric sunroof.

Expected to hit the market with a starting price tag of around Rs 8 lakh, the updated Brezza will take on the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue facelift, Kia Sonnet, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite in the Indian market.
