2 IAS-2 IPS will celebrate the farmers on the Singhu border: Will be included in the committee formed to open one side, will go to Sonipat and discuss with the farmers

A state level committee has been constituted after a meeting held under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal in Chandigarh to open the way on the Singhu border. Two IAS and two IPS have been included in this. On behalf of the Haryana Home Department, a proposal has been sent to the Governor by including four members in the committee. This committee will try to open the way by talking to the farmers.

Let us tell you that for the last 9 months, farmers are going on strike on the Singhu border. Coming and going from here is completely closed. Monika Aggarwal filed a petition in the Supreme Court on this subject, hearing which the court ordered to open one side. On this, the Sonipat administration held talks with the representatives of the farmers’ organization on 14 September. After a positive attitude came in the meeting, a meeting was organized on 15 September under the leadership of CM Manohar Lal. In this, a strategy for interaction with the farmers was prepared. Simultaneously, a negotiating committee was formed.

These will be committee members
ACS IAS Rajiv Arora of the Home Department has been made the chairman of the committee. Director General of Police IPS PK Agarwal, Additional Director of Law and Order IPS Navdeep Singh Virk and Secretary, Home Department, IAS Dr. Balkar Singh have been appointed as members. Apart from this the concerned Divisional Commissioner, Commissioner of Police, Inspector General of Police, District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police will also be attached to the committee for the said purpose.

Committee will discuss with farmers to get NH open
The committee will hold discussions with farmers/farmer organizations to resolve the issue of blockade of inter-state roads and national highways to avoid any inconvenience to the general public.
