2-day Inter-school Carrom Competition Concludes | Ranchi News – Times of India

Ranchi: A city-based private school here organised a two-day inter-school carrom competition where students from eight schools across the district participated. The competition, which concluded on Friday, was held in two categories – U-14 and U-18 age groups (for boys and girls).
One Jay Oraon, a student of Cambrian Public School, Kanke, which organised the event, bagged the first position in the U-14 boys category. A student of DAV,Gandhinagar, Harsh Kumar, and Nitin Tirkey of CPS bagged the second and third positions, respectively, in that category.
In the U-14 girls category, Saloni of DAV, Bariatu bagged the first position, followed by Khushi Singh at second position and Aqsa Khan at third. Both of them are students of CPS.
In the U-18 boys category, all the three winners were from CPS. Ankit Kachhap secured the first position, followed by Arman Ansari and Atul Hembran at second and third positions, respectively.
Aditi Bhardwaj of Carrom Academy secured the first position, followed by Kumari Harshita of St Xavier, Doranda and Koena Balial of Kairali School, Dhurwa in the U-18 girls category.
