Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 171 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death on Thursday. The number of active cases in the state stood at 4,126. The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic last year is 6,71,000 and the death toll stands at 3,952.
A total of 208 patients were declared healthy on Thursday, taking the total number of cured patients to 6,62,922. case fatality rate (CFR) is 0.58 percent while the recovery rate is now 98.79 percent. Of the total cases in the state so far, 79.9 per cent have been asymptomatic while 20.1% have been symptomatic.
As many as 38,373 samples were tested for the novel coronavirus on Thursday. Telangana has now completed the testing of 2.74 crore samples and has reached to 7.38 lakh sample tests per million population.
