At least 17 people were found dead in a nightclub in South Africa’s southern city of East London on Sunday. Police gave this information.
“We have received a report about 17 (people) who died at a local tavern in Scenery Park in east London,” provincial police chief Brigadier Thembinkosi Kinana told AFP. He said officials were still probing the circumstances of the incident.
According to him, the age of the victims was between 18 and 20 years. Police is also trying to pacify the crowd gathered outside the club in the city.
