The companies that are expected to provide vaccines include 500 million doses of Covishield, 400 million doses of Covaxin, 300 million doses of Bio E’s Kovovax, 100 million doses of Sputnik V and 50 million doses of Zydus Cadila’s Zycov-D. So far, at least one dose of corona vaccine has been given to more than 33 crore people in the country. Out of these, there are about 5.60 crore people who have been given both the doses. The vaccination campaign has registered an average increase of almost 100 percent since the implementation of the new policy on the vaccine program on June 21. In the committee meeting, when the members asked the officials present about the effectiveness of these vaccines on different forms of corona virus, they said that all the vaccines are more or less effective against these types.
