The Dhyan Dhanye Auditorium under construction at Alipore is likely to be inaugurated before the first Baisakh. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the multi-level car parking zone on Monday. Mamta also told who had designed the auditorium.
The auditorium was named after Mamata Banerjee. On this occasion, he said, ‘After Rajarhat-Newtown, Alipore will also be developed as a green city. First Navan was built, then Courtesy Pass and now it is complete (he named the multilevel car parking zone at Alipore after him).’ The Chief Minister also said, ‘Dhandhanye Auditorium is being built in this Alipore. which I have designed. The construction work of this conch shaped auditorium is almost nearing completion.
