An organization called Lawyers for Justice submitted a memorandum to the Bar Council regarding the violence in front of Justice Manthar Ajlas. Organization leader Kabir Shankar Bose said, ‘We have drawn the attention of the Bar Council. Acting swiftly, the Bar Council constituted a three-member committee to investigate the incident. They have been asked to submit the report by Tuesday.

Bar Council President Manan Kumar Mishra said, ‘We came to know about this through social media. We decided to intervene in the matter after the lawyers appealed to us. A committee of 3 members has been formed to investigate the incident. Any complaint against a judge could be reported to the chief justice. or any other forum for filing complaints under law. But the chaos that has been created does not behove the legal profession. Such people are not fit to enter the legal profession. We think the reason why he protested has nothing to do with the court. If anyone is found guilty in the investigation, we will take strict action against him.

Lawyer and BJP leader Kabir Shankar Bose said, ‘The Supreme Court has recently taken strong action in the Odisha High Court in a similar case. We will report the incident to the Calcutta High Court in that matter and we will seek the intervention of the court.
