The youths were released after posting bail.
DIG’s sons created a lot of hue and cry at a liquor vend located in Sector-62 of Gurugram. Due to late night, the contract was closed. The youth asked to give them liquor. When the salesman refused to give liquor, the DIG’s sons got upset and started beating him with sticks and rods along with his companions.
After the uproar, other contract salesmen complained to the police. After which 4 youths were caught on the spot. The youths have been identified as Vishal and Navdeep, sons of an IPS officer. At the same time, his two companions Karan and Iru were also caught. All four were produced before DCP South, after which they were released after posting bail.
On this contract, the sons of the DIG created a ruckus under the influence of alcohol.
When the police explained, they resorted to misbehavior
Eyewitness told that the incident took place at around 12 o’clock in the night. Drunken youths were beating up the contract employees. The team of SHO of Sector-65 police station reached on the information. The police personnel also tried to pacify him, but he did not agree and resorted to indecency. Later, other police personnel were called and they were overpowered.
Actually, DIG is posted in Haryana itself and lives in a family in Sector-43 of Gurugram. The investigating officer told that one son of IPS is working and the other is studying.
