Meanwhile, CM Manohar Lal conducted an aerial survey of Fatehabad and Sirsa. The CM said that there has been waterlogging in Tohana, Bhuna, Jakhal, Fatehabad and villages along the Otu lake in Sirsa. Right now there is a strong current in the Ghaggar. He said that 12 districts were affected by floods, water has receded from 10 districts. Water will be removed by pumping in those that are left. Those who have suffered losses will be compensated in the coming weeks.

At that time, he was mourning at his son-in-law’s house, when he came to know that the dam was about to break, he returned to the dam after performing the last rites. I was very sad to see the water of the dam, but still saved thousands of acres of crops from drowning by picking up soil from my 5 acres of crops and worked shoulder to shoulder with the farmers.
