In Haryana’s Rohtak, miscreants targeted a policeman with the intention of robbing him. The sub-inspector (SI) returning to the police line after having food was overtaken by 3 car-borne youths and pointed pistols at him. After which an attempt was made to get the policeman down from the car, but the policeman showed understanding.
Instead of being afraid of the accused, SI Kuldeep Singh posted in the police line snatched his pistol. Due to which he escaped in this incident. The complaint of the matter was given to the Aryanagar police station. On the basis of which the investigation was started by registering a case against the accused under various sections.

SI Kuldeep Singh of Haryana Police, a resident of Bhaiswan Khurd village of Sonipat, told in a complaint to the police that he is posted in the Rohtak police line. He has been a player of boxing and wrestling and also won many medals. At night, after duty, he went to the canteen of Rohtak PGI to have food after riding in the car.

SI Kuldeep Singh told that he was coming to the police line after having food. When they reached near Bajrang Bhawan railway line, the car came from behind. He overtook and stopped the car. 3 young boys got down from the car. He had covered his mouth with a handkerchief. One of the youths came to him and pointed a pistol and asked him to get down from the car.

He told that when the accused youth was getting down from the car with his pistol drawn, SI Kuldeep Singh caught hold of his pistol and turned it back towards him. After which the accused youths tried to pull him down from the car by holding his throat, but the policeman started the car.

SI Kuldeep Singh said that due to him driving the vehicle, the accused youth kept trying to get rid of the pistol, but he did not leave the pistol. The accused youths ran away and chased them for some distance. But they escaped from there. In this incident, his shirt was torn and there were injuries on his neck and hand. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case.
