The third round of monsoon is in full swing in Gujarat. There is a flood situation in Junagadh on Saturday due to 10 inches of rain. Aji-1 and Nyari dams have also overflowed in Rajkot district. At the same time, only 3 feet is left before the Bhadar Dam overflows. The largest Shetrunji dam in Bhavnagar district has also overflowed.

At the same time, water has been filled up to the knees at the Ahmedabad airport. Due to this the passengers are facing a lot of difficulties.

The inflow of water is still going on in the dam, due to which it is likely to be full in the next few days. Due to torrential rains in Rajkot district, the Gondal-Atkot highway has been flooded up to 3 feet. Due to this the highway has been closed from both sides. In Vadipara village of Kotda Sangani, 15 people who were trapped in the flood of the river, were rescued by the NDRF team.

On the other hand, flood situation has prevailed in Lathi, Babra, Chamardi, Valardi, Ingorala, Kunwargarh villages of Amreli district.
