Amritsar-Jamnagar Express Highway gift to the country
Earlier, PM Modi gifted the Amritsar-Jamnagar Express Highway to the nation. Along with this, Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 24,300 crore. It had started raining there before Modi reached. Modi was accompanied by Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari.

Through this highway, the travel time from Amritsar (Punjab) to Jamnagar (Gujarat) will now take 13 hours instead of 26 hours. Apart from this, the distance between Amritsar to Jamnagar will also be reduced from 1430 km to 1316 km.

Addressing the program, Modi said- Rajasthan has scored a double century in the matter of expressway. Earlier Delhi-Mumbai Expressway has been gifted in Dausa. Got the gift of Amritsar-Jamnagar Express Highway today.

Rajasthan has the potential to grow at a fast pace. That’s why we are making record investments here. There is immense potential for industrial development here. That’s why we are facilitating connectivity here. This corridor will connect Rajasthan with Haryana, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.

On one hand the distance from Bikaner to Amritsar and Jodhpur will be reduced. At the same time, the distance from Jodhpur to Jalore will also reduce. This expressway will give industrial strength to the entire western India. We have also kept the development of railways in Rajasthan on our priority. If the connectivity is better then the cottage industries of Bikaner will be able to deliver their goods to every nook and corner of the country. We declared border villages as the first villages of the country, so development is taking place in these areas.

Along with the PM, Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari also came to Bikaner.

Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal compared PM Modi to Maharaja Ganga Singh. Said- The way Maharaja Ganga Singh brought Gang Nagar to Bikaner. It proved to be a lifeline for Bikaner. Similarly, the Amritsar-Jamnagar Expressway given to Bikaner by PM Modi will prove to be a lifeline for Bikaner.

This expressway will connect three refineries of the country HMEL Bathinda, HPCL Barmer and RIL Jamnagar. At the same time, Guru Nanak Dev Thermal Plant (Bathinda) and Suratgarh Super Thermal Power Plant (Sriganganagar) will also be connected.

Apart from this, this expressway is part of Bharatmala and Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor. It will pass through four states Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana and Gujarat.

Highway will pass through these districts in Rajasthan
This expressway will pass through Bikaner, Sriganganagar and Hanumangarh of Bikaner division of Rajasthan. Passing near Sangriya town of Hanumangarh, it will proceed near Hanumangarh town.

There can be an interchange on NDR 28 near Chohilawali on Hanumangarh to Pilibanga-Ravatsar road. Interchange can also be done on Kalusar-Etah road near Suratgarh thermal plant.

There will be a toll plaza at Jaitpur near Arjansar-Pallu. Beyond Arjansar, the road will be found between Lunkaransar-Kalu of Bikaner.

Sahajrasar between Direran and Kalu in Lunkaransar, Naurangdesar village situated on the Bikaner-Jaipur road will also get an opportunity to board this expressway.

After this there will be a road from Nokha to Nagaur via Rasisar of Deshnok. Apart from this, it will reach Sanchore via Jodhpur, Barmer. Beyond Sanchore, part of Gujarat will be connected.

It is being claimed that Air Force aircraft will also be able to land here.

These parts will also be added
However, the part from Hanumangarh to Sanchore (Jalore) is being started under this project. It is being claimed that the remaining part will be completed by October 2023. Till then many parts of Bikaner and Jodhpur will also be connected to this highway. It has a part from Rasisar in Bikaner to Deogarh in Jodhpur.

It also includes Nokha, Panchu of Bikaner, Phalodi of Jodhpur, Osian in between. They will reach the express highway through different routes. In such a situation, connectivity with these cities will also increase. Sangriya, Pallu, Suratgarh of Hanumangarh, Arjansar, Lunkaransar, Rasisar, Naurangdesar of Bikaner and many parts will also be able to take advantage of the expressway.

PM Modi inaugurated it on Saturday. The work of this project will be completed by October 2023.
