Hearing against Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav in defamation case to be held in Ahmedabad Metro Court today. This defamation petition has been filed by social activist and businessman Haresh Mehta in the court of Additional Metropolitan Magistrate DJ Parmar for calling Gujaratis thugs.

In the last hearing, Tejashwi’s lawyer had sought time
The first hearing in this case took place on May 1 last week. The court heard the statements of both the parties for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, the deputy CM’s lawyer sought time from the court. On this, the court had given the next date on May 8.

At the same time, Praful R Patel, counsel for the complainant Haresh Mehta, during the hearing, citing the decision of the Supreme Court in the court, said that if someone uses indecent language, it should not be taken lightly. In such a situation, no matter how big the accused is, he should be taken seriously and appropriate action should be taken.

Mehul gave the statement keeping in mind the vigilance
Last month, Tejashwi Yadav had made a controversial comment on Gujaratis while reacting to a news about Nirav Modi. He had said- ‘In today’s situation in the country only Gujaratis can be thugs. His thug will also be forgiven. Liac, give the bank money, then he will run away, then who will be responsible.

Friends, friends who are doing corruption, but their parrot does not come out of the cage. Following his statement, businessman Haresh Mehta had filed a case against Tejashwi Yadav on March 21 under sections 499 and 500 (criminal defamation) of IPC.
