Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the country on Sunday i.e. today at 11 am through the Mann Ki Baat program. This will be the 98th episode of Mann Ki Baat. Holi is on 8th March next month. PM Modi can discuss about Holi festival this time. Apart from this, we can also talk about the preparations for the G20 Summit to be held in the country.
Earlier, on January 29, the PM had addressed the people through the Mann Ki Baat programme. He told the life stories of Padma awardees last time. Along with this he had said – Democracy is in our veins, it is in our culture. It has also been an integral part of our functioning for centuries. By nature we are a democracy society.

1. It is a matter of pride for tribals to get Padma Award
PM Modi had said that a large number of Padma awardees come from tribal communities and people associated with tribal society. Tribal life is different from city life, it has its own challenges too. Despite all this, the tribal society is always eager to save its traditions. Many great personalities have received Padma awards for their work on tribal languages like Toto, Ho, Kui, Kuvi and Manda. It is a matter of pride for all of us.
2. The women’s contingent of CRPF is being appreciated a lot on Republic Day
The PM had said that many aspects are being praised a lot in the Republic Day celebrations. It was great to see the workers building the duty path during the January 26 parade. Women camel riders and CRPF women contingent, who took part in this parade for the first time, are also being appreciated a lot.
3. PM Modi also talked about the G-20 summit
PM had said that I am happy that in every corner of the country, wherever the G-20 Summit is being held, nutritious and tasty dishes made from millets are included in it. You can imagine how much strength this effort of the country and the increasing demand of millets in the world is going to give to our small farmers. I congratulate the countrymen for such a grand start of the International Year of Millets and for continuously taking it forward.
