बेंगलुरु में चलती बाइक से कूदी महिला, VIDEO: नशे में धुत ड्राइवर ने फोन छीना, गलत तरीके से छुआ; आरोपी गिरफ्तार

A woman jumped off a moving Rapido bike in Bengaluru. The woman alleges that the bike driver was drunk. He flirted. He wanted to kidnap her. The incident happened between 11.10 to 11.45 on April 21 at Yelahanka in Bengaluru. Police arrested the accused Rapido driver Deepak Rao and sent him to judicial custody for 14 days.

A video related to this incident has also surfaced. In the video, the woman is seen jumping off the bike. After jumping off the bike, the woman gets dragged for some distance on the road. Then she gets up and stops another bike rider for help. Meanwhile some people reach there to help him. While the bike rider sees people gathering, he runs away from there.

Phone snatching registered in FIR
According to the FIR of the victim woman, she works in a private firm. He is 30 years old. The woman had booked a Rapido bike on April 21 at around 11.10 pm from her home in Yelahanka to Indiranagar. The woman alleges that the bike driver first took her phone to enter the One Time Password (OTP). Then picked him up and went around the same area. After this BMS started going to Doddaballapur Main Road near Institute of Technology and Management.

Woman’s allegation – Drunk driver
The victim further stated that he was in an inebriated condition. He touched the wrong way. The vehicle did not even stop when asked to stop. He wanted to kidnap her. So the victim jumped off the moving bike near BMS Institute of Technology and Management. Due to this, his hand and leg were also injured.

In November 2022 too, a 22-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a Rapido rider and his friend in the Electronic City police station area in Bengaluru.
