Yogi Adityanath said, rural talents will get an opportunity to move forward through the Sansad Khel Mahakumbh. Through this they will get a platform. The work of making playgrounds is going on in 58,000 village panchayats of the state. In which land has been reserved for sports grounds in 34,000 gram panchayats so far.

Khel Mahakumbh will run from 18 to 28 January

MP Khel Mahakumbh is being organized by Basti’s Lok Sabha MP Harish Dwivedi 2021. The first phase of Sansad Khel Mahakumbh 2022-23 was organized in blocks from 10 December to 16 December 2022.

The second phase of Khel Mahakumbh has been organized at the district level from January 18 to January 28. In which games like kabaddi, kho-kho, basket ball, football, hockey, volleyball, handball, table tennis etc. will be organized. Cultural programs will also be organized in Khel Mahakumbh.

Earlier, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the players and the gathering from the dais of Shaheed Satyawan Singh Stadium, the venue. Let me tell you, route diversion has been done in the city for the program organized at Shaheed Satywan Singh Sports Stadium from January 18 to January 28. Parking zones have been created at 13 places in the city. There will be parking for heavy and light vehicles. Four wheelers of VIPs will be parked in the Collectorate premises.

MP Harish Dwivedi said, the objective of MP Khel Mahakumbh is to enhance the talent of the players of rural areas and provide them proper opportunities. Khel Mahakumbh seems to be fulfilling its objective. Buses have been arranged to bring players from rural areas.
