Home Minister Amit Shah will be on a two-day Gujarat tour from Saturday. Shah will lay the foundation stone for the permanent campus of the National Academy of Coastal Policing (NACP) at Okha in Dwarka district today. He will also virtually inaugurate five BSF outposts built on the Jakhau coast of Kutch district.

Amit Shah will visit Dwarka, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar on a two-day tour. On Sunday, Shah will inaugurate a national convention of the Modi community in Ahmedabad. Apart from this, Shah will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation. He will also participate in the cricket competition program organized at Gandhinagar North assembly seat. At the same time, 320 buses of the State Road Transport Corporation will also be commissioned.

Central government gave 441 crores for NACP

BSF Gujarat Frontier said on Friday that NACP was established to strengthen the maritime borders of 9 states, 5 union territories bordering the sea. The central government has also sanctioned Rs 441 crore for this.

Virtual inauguration of five posts of BSF

Amit Shah will also virtually inaugurate five posts of BSF in Kutch district. These are among the 18 coastal outposts built at a cost of Rs 164 crore. Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla and BSF Director General SL Thousen will also attend the event.
