The theme of this event has been Pravasi: Reliable partner of India’s progress in Amrit Kaal. On the first day of this three-day program, President of Guyana Mohammad Irfan Ali, President of Suriname Chandrika Prasad Santokhi, Australian MP Janetta Mascarenhas will participate. At the same time, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar will deliver the inaugural speech on Monday. Please tell that Mahatma Gandhi returned home from South Africa on January 9, 1915. Most of the guests including Suriname President Chandrika Prasad Santokhi have reached to attend the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas conference. The Madhya Pradesh government has deployed more than 10,000 policemen for security arrangements in the conference. It is being told that the Global Investors Summit is to be organized immediately after this conference i.e. from January 11. This event will be held on 12 January. To attend both these programmes, the Prime Minister had invited NRIs to come to Indore during his foreign tour.
