NIA is conducting search operation against gangsters and Khalistani activists across the country.
The NIA team is conducting raids at 122 locations in 6 states of the country. This search operation is being done regarding the gangster-Khalistani network. About 200 officers of the NIA team have reached different places to investigate.
Search operation is going on at many locations in Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi-NCR, UP and MP. This is the second major search operation by NIA in the last three days. Earlier, the NIA had investigated terror funding in Jammu and Kashmir.
Raids were conducted at 13 places in Jammu and Kashmir.
On May 15, raids were conducted at 13 places in five districts of Jammu and Kashmir in the terror conspiracy case. It was reported that terrorist organizations and their overground workers are working under the name change at the behest of Pakistani commanders. After which the investigation team started this operation.
NIA sources said that the raids were carried out in Budgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Srinagar and Anantnag districts of suspected hideouts belonging to several banned organizations active in Jammu and Kashmir.
Last week also searching was done in 7 districts
On May 9, the NIA raided 15 locations of 8 terrorist organizations in 7 districts of Jammu and Kashmir regarding terror funding and terror conspiracy from Pakistan. The places that were searched were linked to 8 terrorist organizations including Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Resistance Front (TRF).
Terrorists target minorities and security personnel
According to security agencies, many banned organizations and people associated with them are active in Jammu and Kashmir. They live here under a name change and work at the behest of Pakistani commanders. They carry out terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir using cyber space. Minorities and security personnel are to be targeted. Along with this, they are involved in incidents like disturbing social peace.
