Miscreants stopped a cab at gunpoint inside a tunnel near Pragati Maidan in Delhi. The occupants escaped after snatching a bag full of Rs 1.5 to 2 lakh cash from the delivery agent. The incident is of 24 June. A CCTV video of this incident has surfaced.

In the video, 4 miscreants riding on 2 bikes are seen stopping the car. Based on the video and the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case. Is being investigated. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has sought the resignation of LG Vinay Kumar Saxena regarding this incident.

The victim was going to give cash to the client
According to media reports, Patel Sajan Kumar works as a delivery agent at Chandni Chowk-based Omiya Enterprises. On June 24, he left for Gurugram from Chandni Chowk with his partner Jigar Patel. He had a bag full of money which he had to give to his client there.

The two booked an Ola cab from Red Fort and entered the Pragati Maidan tunnel on their way to Gurugram on the Ring Road. That’s why 4 miscreants riding on two bikes stopped the cab by showing guns and looted the bags and ran away. After this, Sajan Kumar informed the police about the incident. He told the police that the bag contained around Rs 1.5 to 2 lakh cash.

Kejriwal demands resignation from LG
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has sought the resignation of the Lieutenant Governor over the incident. Kejriwal tweeted and wrote, ‘LG should resign. Make room for someone who can provide security to the people of Delhi.

He wrote, ‘If the central government cannot make Delhi safe, then hand it over to us. We will show you how to make a city safe for its citizens.
