CBI had questioned for 8 hours in April

Tejashwi Yadav was questioned by the CBI for 8 hours on April 11 in Delhi in the Land for Job case. The CBI asked Tejashwi to answer different questions for about eight hours in two shifts. Tejashwi had reached the Delhi High Court to quash the CBI’s summons. The court had dismissed the deputy CM’s plea to quash the CBI’s summons. Then the CBI said in the court that it would not arrest Tejashwi Yadav for the time being. During this, the CBI had also confirmed Tejashwi Yadav by showing some documents.

Then after questioning, Tejashwi had said that whenever the investigation has been done, we have cooperated and we answered the questions that were asked. These are baseless things. The truth is that there is no scam at all.

Understand how Tejashwi’s name came in the land for job case

The matter is related to Lalu Prasad, who was the Union Railway Minister from 2004 to 2009. The allegation is that while in office, Lalu Prasad got the family jobs in the railways in return for land transfer. The CBI has also alleged that the recruitments made in the Railways were not in accordance with the standards and guidelines of the Indian Railways.

Whereas, house number D-1088 (registered in the name of AB Exports Pvt. Ltd., owned by Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and his family) located in Delhi’s New Friends Colony, has a market value of Rs 150 crore today. Mumbai’s gems and jewelery businessmen have invested money in buying it. On paper it is a company office, but Tejashwi uses it as his home. Tejashwi had resigned from the post of director of this company on 9 November 2015. Tejashwi has said that he was very young at the time of the matter.
