In Akal Takht Express going from Amritsar to Kolkata, TTE put toilet on the head of female passenger. The woman was traveling in A-1 coach with her husband. When the woman raised an alarm, the husband and other passengers caught hold of the TTE and thrashed her. When the train reached Lucknow, it was handed over to the GRP. The incident took place on Sunday night at 12 o’clock. Railways has sacked the TTE on Monday evening.
Inspector GRP Charbagh Navratna Gautam told, “The woman is a resident of Amritsar. She was going to Kolkata with husband Rajesh. Everyone was sleeping around 12 in the night. The train was between Bareilly and Lucknow. Meanwhile, TTE Munna Kumar of Bihar, who was intoxicated, did this dirty act.
Accused TTE said – Drunk made a mistake
The inspector said that the GRP had received the complaint through Twitter. GRP-RPF caught TET Munna as soon as the train reached Lucknow. On the complaint of the woman’s husband, the accused has been arrested and sent to jail. The accused has also accepted his mistake. The accused has confessed that he was intoxicated. Because of this he has made this mistake.
