Gujarat Police’s Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) has arrested 4 people including a foreign national from Porbandar. According to ATS sources, all four have links with the international terrorist organization ISIS.
ATS has been conducting search operations in Porbandar and surrounding areas for the past several days. Under this operation, these four people have been arrested.
Were planning to join ISIS
Investigation revealed that those arrested were part of the terror module of ISIS. They were in touch with each other for the last one year and were planning to leave the country to join the terror outfit.
Teams reached Dwarka two days ago
IG Deepen Bhadran, SP Sunil Joshi, DySP K.K. Teams of several police officers including Patel, DYSP Shankar Chowdhary were camping in Dwarka for two days. Initially, the media was informed that a huge consignment of drugs and heroin had arrived on the sea coast of Dwarka. Teams from Dwarka had secretly left for Porbandar, where the operation was carried out.
IG can give information about operation till evening
However, the ATS has refused to give any information regarding this operation. Officials told the media that this is a secret operation. After thorough investigation of the matter, the media will be informed about it. According to police officials, IG Deepen Bhadran can hold a media conference regarding this entire operation by evening.

Three suspects were caught in MP 12 days ago
Prior to Porbandar, a joint operation was conducted by NIA and Madhya Pradesh ATS on 26-27 May. In which three people were arrested from MP. All three are accused of working on a terror module linked to ISIS. The team raided 13 places in Jabalpur.
Sharp weapons and ammunition recovered
The three arrested in MP were identified as Syed Mamoor Ali, Mohd Shahid and Mohd Adil Khan. Sharp weapons, incriminating papers, ammunition and digital tools were recovered from them, which were seized.
