Another case of death due to heart attack while playing cricket has come to light in Gujarat. A GST officer died in an attack during a cricket match at Shantiniketan Ground in Ahmedabad. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but by then he had died. Some boys were making video of the match, in which the moment of death was captured live.

Attack came during bowling
GST officer Vasant Rathod playing cricket with friends in Ahmedabad on Sunday morning. He was bowling when he sat down on the ground due to severe chest pain. Friends ran towards him, but only then he fell to the ground. Some friends tried to give him CPR, but he did not start breathing. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Last Sunday two youths playing cricket died due to attack
A similar case came to the fore last Sunday as well. Two youths died of heart attacks shortly after playing cricket in Rajkot and Surat. Shortly after playing, both of them developed chest pain and were taken to the hospital. Both died during treatment.

A young man died after playing cricket in Rajkot 15 days ago.
Bharat Baraiya, 21, who had come to Rajkot from Gujarat’s Deesa town for his sister’s wedding, had gone to play cricket with the boys of the neighbourhood. While returning home after playing cricket, he had a heart attack on the way. He was taken to the Civil Hospital, where he died during treatment.
