A pregnant woman and her husband were burnt to death when a moving car caught fire in Kerala, while the other four people sitting behind in the car escaped unhurt. According to media reports, the case is of Kannur district on Thursday. Seeing the fire in the car, the people around called fire engines, but the woman and her husband were badly burnt in the fire, which could not be saved.

It is being told that the woman was being taken to the hospital due to labor pain. Suddenly the car caught fire as soon as it came in front of the district hospital.

The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Risha, a resident of Kuttiattur, and her husband has been identified as 35-year-old Prajith. At the same time, four other people in the car have been admitted to the hospital.

Eyewitness said – there was a fear of explosion of oil tank
Kannur City Police Commissioner Ajith Kumar said the other occupants of the car did not suffer major injuries. He will be questioned to investigate the matter and find out the cause of the fire. However, eyewitnesses reported that the car was badly engulfed in flames. We could not do much to save them as it seemed that the car’s oil tank might explode any moment.
